Virginia Farm Bureau Federation AgPAC endorses Delegate James Edmunds for House seat

Delegate James Edmunds has received the endorsement of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation (VFBF) AgPAC, a political action committee of Virginia Farm Bureau Federation, in the race for the 60th District seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.

"I am once again humbled to accept this endorsement by my peers" exclaimed Delegate Edmunds when notified of his endorsement for the fifth straight campaign. "As a "hands-on" farmer myself, I am fully aware of the challenges farmers face on a daily basis and I know that those challenges are only going to continue to increase. I am honored to be in a position to help with those added pressures. The information provided to me by Virginia Farm Bureau representatives during General Assembly session is invaluable when making informed decisions that will support the agricultural and forestry industries in Virginia," stated Mr. Edmunds.

Delegate Edmunds is among 94 candidates that Virginia VFBF AgPAC has endorsed for House seats. Endorsements were made based on the recommendations of local committees of farmers.

NFIB: Delegate James Edmunds Earns 100% Rating on Small Business Issues

RICHMOND, August 11, 2017- Nicole Riley, State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business, announced today that Delegate James Edmunds earned a score of 100% on the 2016-2017 NFIB/Virginia Voting Record. NFIB/Virginia is the commonwealth's leading small-business association, with 6,700 small-business members statewide.

"What this means is that Delegate Edmunds has stood up for Virginia's job creators time and again on important issues such as addressing the rising costs of healthcare, opposing efforts to place additional mandates on the backs of small business and reforming Virginia's regulatory structure," Riley said.

Small businesses account for 98 percent of the commonwealth's employers and employ nearly half of Virginia's non-government workforce, according to federal government statistics.
