2016's first "Tout the Teacher" winner

Today Delegate James Edmunds congratulated the first teacher to win Delegate Edmunds' 2016 "Tout the Teacher Program".

Pictured left to right is Delegate James Edmunds with Kay Brown, a 19 year veteran 3rd grade teacher at Cluster Springs Elementary School, and Principal Catherine Glass.

She was given $100 from Delegate James Edmunds – plus a $20 Gift Card to Simple Splendor Salon (Donated by Halifax County Farm Bureau) a $25 Fruitopia Gift Card – a Gift Card from Old 360 Dinner – "Dessert and Coffee for 2" from Bistro 1888 - The choice of an entrée from the "15 before 6" menu at Molasses Grill – as well as a $25 Gift Card from Blue Ribbon Market (Donated by Fear's Excavating. Along with School Supplies donated by Lisa Sykes!
